Hosted by Jason Cook with special guests Sarah Millican and Chris Ramsey
South Shields Customs House
Sunday 15th February 2015
Some of the region’s biggest stars are coming together to support a South Tyneside arts venue and charity. Hebburn creator Jason Cook is hosting the charity gig on Sunday, February 15 at The Customs House to raise funds for the Trust. South Shields comedians Sarah Millican and Chris Ramsey have now been revealed as part of the line up with acts still to be announced.
Next year marks a special year for The Customs House as it marks the 150th anniversary of the building and its 21st year as an entertainments venue.
The show will raise funds for The Customs House Trust, which provides art and cultural activities for the people of South Tyneside.
Executive Director Ray Spencer, MBE, said: “It’s wonderful nationally established stars like Jason, Chris and Sarah give their time so generously to help secure the future of a local asset which serves their community.
We really appreciate the support we are receiving to help us move forward and continue our work in the community and to help generate the stars of tomorrow. This will be one of the highlights of our milestone year and those who manage to get a ticket will not be disappointed.”
February will also see Joe McElderry give proceeds from his matinee performance on Sunday, February 22 as part of his Evolution Tour.
Tickets for the Charity Gala which is on at 3pm and 7.30pm are £30 and are available from the box office on 0191 454 1234 or www.customshouse.co.uk
