PREVIEW: The Delta Quadrant’s Open Door Policy at Alphabetti Theatre – Newcastle Fringe Festival

💼 Drag queen. Business mogul. Everyone’s boss. The Delta Quadrant is clocking in for one night only at Alphabetti Theatre with her chaotic and camp new comedy show The Delta Quadrant’s Open Door Policy, as part of the Newcastle Fringe Festival.

Set in the high-powered world of boardrooms, power lunches and passive-aggressive post-its, this one-"businesswoman" show gives audiences a behind-the-scenes look at a day in the life of The Delta Quadrant — when she thinks no one's watching.

From bizarre pitch meetings and wild musical numbers to demanding antics with her long-suffering assistant Stephanie, Open Door Policy blends drag, comedy, and absurd corporate satire into an unforgettable performance.

Described as “part stand-up comedy (don’t tell her that), part drag show (definitely don’t tell her that), and 100% seriously bad business,” this show is a celebration of delusional grandeur and unchecked ambition.

The Delta Quadrant is quickly becoming one of the North East’s most beloved new drag performers. She’s already won over crowds at Curious Arts, Bishop Auckland Pride, and Drag Idol 2024, where she was crowned Miss Congeniality.

Praise from industry icons:

“She’s a breath of fresh air on the scene... A rising star to watch!” – Choriza May, Drag Race UK

“One to watch… I want to work for The Delta Quadrant.” – Miss Rory

“A delightfully absurd commitment to character. I’d apply for the job, but I’d be sacked for laughing.” – Gladys Duffy

So polish your CV and step into the office — just don’t expect a performance review. With The Delta Quadrant’s Open Door Policy, you’re guaranteed laughter, power suits, and a lot of corporate nonsense.
