Gavin Webster returns to the Playhouse, as part of his new European tour, on Friday the 14thof October at 8pm!
The self styled ‘Pirate King’ of Tyneside, who has a cult following throughout the region, is back on home soil with a brand new hour of grandiose set pieces, local lampooning, crash bang wallop gags, dark observations, funny stories and downright lies. The night tends to be topped off with a comedy song on the ukulele or a big band number with funny rhyming couplets of epic and surreal proportions. He’s an antidote to the Live at the Apollo suit and waistcoat comics; go and see him, he’s a Geordie legend.
Supporting is the one and only John Fothergill, Comedy Store regular and another legendary Geordie alternative comedian.
