AGIT-INDIE BAND RETURN WITH PUNCH-PACKING SINGLE:
DOWN’ & EMBARK ON CO-HEADLINE TOUR WITH STRANGE BONES

Blackwaters
Tuesday 7th February 2017 – Hull The Polar Bear DETAILS
Wednesday 8th February 2017 – Newcastle Think Tank Underground TICKETS

Blackwaters launch into 2017 with a ripe slice of high-octane indie in the shape of forthcoming single: ‘Down’.

The latest release from these tempestuous teen upstarts arrives on the eve of their first nationwide live dates - a co-headline tour with like-minded Blackpool rockers Strange Bones.

Swiftly following their Radio1 and Radio X hailed debut outing, anti-anthem ‘So Far Out’; the Surrey-based hell raisers will release ‘Down’ on 3rd of February 2017 via the Scrubs record label.

Oozing with passion, aggression and an angst-ridden unwillingness to compromise, ‘Down’ finds the outspoken four-piece in fiery form as they deliver this lung-busting clarion call against the powers that be.

I cant’ get down with people, people, people like YOU!”.

BlackWaters are four immense - loud - eighteen year old indie thrashers from the UK.Having scored fans and co-collaborators in the likes of Carl Barât (The Libertines), Spike Stent and sometime Prodigy co-writer Olly Burden, the four piece have evidently been making the right kind of racket. BlackWaters are: Max Tanner (vocals), David Carpenter (guitar), Ollie Franklin (bass) and James Watkins (drums)

Performing on the BBCIntroducing Stage at Leeds Festival & supporting the likes of SWMRS & DMAs last year, the band look to make 2017 theirs as they release new single ‘Down’ and embark on a nationwide co-headline tour with Strange Bones.

BlackWaters will release ‘Down’ on 3rd February 2017 via Scrubs Records.

Now preparing to tear up stages across the nation, the Surrey four piece will put in sets at 15 towns and cities, kicking off in Coventry on the 23rd of January and pursuing an intense schedule that will conclude in Stoke On Trent on 11th of February.  See full dates and details as follows:
