The Sunderland Empire announce a spectacular evening of film music with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra on Sunday, 9th March 2025, as they present The Music of John Williams, conducted by the celebrated Stephen Bell.

The performance comes as a tribute to John Williams, one of cinema’s greatest living composers, who has been nominated for a record-breaking 53 Academy Awards, winning 5 Oscars for his unforgettable scores. Just weeks after his 93rd birthday on 8th February 2025, this concert is a celebration of his extraordinary contributions to the art of film music since he first started out in Hollywood as a session musician in the 1950s.
